The Veterans' Student Loan Relief Fund provides grants of up to $5,000 to qualified vets to help them dig out from under the debt burden accumulated by attending predatory for-profit colleges or career and trade schools. Created by Jerome Kohlberg, a World War II veteran, Wall Street executive, and early champion of the Post-9/11 GI Bill, the Fund has given out over 35 grants.
