The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund serves United States military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation, and their families.  Rehabilitation is done through Center for the Intrepid at Brooke Army Medical Center. The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NiCoE) works on Traumatic Brain Injury rehabilitation and research, located in Bethesda, Maryland. Online resources include two printable books: Handbook for Injured Service Members and Their Families and Handbook for Families of Deceased Military Personnel. Travel Assistance for Caregivers is managed through Fisher House Programs (Hero Miles).

Other:Travel Assistance through Hero Miles Program (Fisher House) must come through case worker, social work staff, or service casualty offices. At some medical centers, there are established offices to assist families, such as the Soldier and Family Assistance Center, the Warrior Transition Unit, the Warrior Family Assistance Center at SAMMC, or Marine Liaisons at Naval medical centers.
